- How to break up your clumps with a top layer of leaf coloring. Plus a little scrape in the final layer is the best way to finish your wonderful new world.
- Why strategically placing beautiful blobs creates an unforgettable painting. I wish I’d begun using this method much earlier in my career.

Lesson #8 - Fine Tuning the Trees

- How to make the trunks vivid and striking. This final touch on the knobs does the trick, giving your scene “eyes to see.”
- The secret “Dabber” way to finish aspen tree trunks. Nobody else in the world uses this technique. It’s so great, it almost creates an optical illusion.
- My “illuminated texture” secrets. All it takes is a simple “glide and feather” motion on your branches.
- The upside-down canvas trick I use to add warmth to every aspen tree painting. It sounds crazy, but does the trick every time.
